Fact or Fiction

Putting an idea here today was a little harder then it has been the last few weeks. It seems that given the current "State of the Nation" there is way too much material to be written about. Everything from war,, to gas prices,, the economy,, the stock market.. All sorts of fun stuff to write about . Then it dawned on me. If we can see all the problems/issues around us, but the Bush Administration can't, there had to be a reason. A little bit of digging yielded this beauty of a picture. I realize that a number of the people in this shot { pardon me again Mr Cheney} ,, are no longer on the White House staff. GW needed to re-stack the deck better when the "old" staff members either had their hearing aids replaced and started to hear the people around them,, or got their morals back.
GW is blind to the actual issues/things around him. He has to be.. There is no other logical explanation for his action or lack thereof. Look at the management of the shipping ports that was almost sold to a Saudi company. GW saw nothing wrong with this. OK,, so he's been dealing w/ the Saudi's since back in the oil days of the 1980's,, but common.. Selling the rights to manage ALL the major shipping ports to "Dubai Ports World,United Arab Emirates"? LMFAO... How could he not think the public would have a problem with it?
We need an administration that is in touch with the pulse of the nation,, not one that is blind to the nations wishes. We need to be led, not mis-led. We need a leader who can lead by example, not one who is led by his purse-strings.

It is a bit out of context, but he really said it.
"It is clear our nation is reliant upon big foreign oil. More and more of our imports come from overseas."—Beaverton, Ore., Sep. 25, 2000--George W Bush
