Republicans Have Gas

In my job, I have the pleasure of driving quite a bit. {at my own expense of course} . Gasoline prices have skyrocketed again, breaking the $2.53 per gallon barrier again. This is more then $1.00/gallon higher then when the " War for Gas" in Iraq was begun by GW and company. Why is that? Well, I think we all have heard the " Oil futures prices are projected 2-3 months ahead & gas prices can't be predicted due to the instability of the worlds supply from the middle eastern " bla, bla, bla....... Certain factors to that line, i'll buy,, but when you have the largest oil company in America, turning in profits that defy any sort of business logic short of outright theft, You have to look twice. Exxon/Mobile Corp , for the year 2005, had net income of 36.1 Billion dollars.. That's $ 36,100,000,000.00 kids..... That's what they made............ Now I understand that companies need to make a profit. Heck, we're all out to make a buck. The people down on wallstreet love a company like this. The trading is never-ending. Which brings me back to my point. No matter what GW says, the Iraq war is all about gas & control. If the war has led to higher gas prices, & and higher profits for the oil companies,, then perhaps we need to re-evaluate the actual reasons for being there. Maybe have the oil companies "donate"a good portion of their excessive profits from the last few years to humanitarian causes that are not government related , or fake tax shelters. Well,, I could go on for a while here,, & I'm sure i'll be revisiting the GAS topic,, real soon,,but for now, , Have a great day ...

Hey, the thunderstorm outside is clammering like a sunofabotich and it's raining hard and the dog won't go outside to pee, so i'm sitting here, reading IN COLD BLOOD and listening to her (my dog) scratch this little thing on the side of her neck, and i took a break and had my evening fix of The Hawk's nightly rant and on top of it all you can do this sort of thing so much beter than me and that's quite all right with me...in fact, rage on, Hawk! Rage on!
