Saturday Coffee

Having a cup of coffee on a Saturday morning is a relaxing experience. It gets you rolling on the path to a productive day of work around the house , LMAO , or perhaps a day of relaxing, kicking back, & clearing the basic bullshit from your head by doing nothing in particular. Either way, coffee is a necessary component of this ritual. I came across a " photo article" that caught my attention regarding coffee. Seems that there is some very exotic stuff that's available. Upon seeing this information, I felt it might be fun to step away from politics today & talk shit. Literally.
"Kopi Luwak".Thats the name for it. You see, this is no ordinary coffee.This is coffee that's gathered in the wild.The beans are eaten and digested by a small animal called a "palm civet" . Villagers in the Philippines then
gather up the piles of digested beans, and process them .I'm not sure if I really want to know how they process them .Fans of the "coffee drink" that is made from this poop say its the "very distinctive chocolate flavor and strong odor" that attracts them to it. This wonderful treat hasn't become a big hit in the world market yet, { as far as I know} , but the processed product is selling for more then $250 per pound. That's a lotta poop. People go to roadside cafes to enjoy a cup while
discussing world news and other shit that's happening.Ok, I gotta say, this changes my views on coffee,at least for the foreseeable future. Can chocolate poop flavored coffee really be worth so much more then a Starbucks? Maybe I need to get some palm civets as pets to keep my cats company.... Naah,, then the cats would want to eat the coffee beans too.. then it might get ugly. I could picture it now. Jealous kitties because I wouldn't dry roast their digested coffee bean poop. Ok,, enough of this shit. I need more real coffee.. Have a great day, unless you choose to do
otherwise . Kopi Luwak LinkHawk :}
