joe,
i'm going to miss your rants. while it was obvious toward the end that you seemed to be running out of fuel, it was a great ride while it lasted. if nothing else, it proves you're a very talented writer with a style that's pleasant, conversational and unforced. while you taught a lot to those of us who read your columns, maybe this blog has taught you a little bit more about yourself, as well.
