Real Writing.
Occasionally, in my spare time, I actually read literature. { I know, time to pass out, isn't it.?}
My own intrests vary from the obscure to the absurd, and many different degrees of the above.
About 6 years ago, I met a guy at work who "wrote" on the side. I've met a few people
before who wrote and I shrugged at the topic. Then I asked him what he wrote, and he said "poetry" . Now, I've read poetry in english lit class & I consider a lot of the music I listen to to be poetic. Heck, I even belong to a couple on-line poetry thingies,, but I had never met a poet who had actually been published, in book form.
John Yamrus has a unique style of poetry that tends to draw people in to the topic. After reading all the available material, I've become a huge fan. Within the last 12 months, John has had 1 book break in on the Barns & Nobel book chart, that being " One Step at a Time" , which is a great collection of poems. This book is available either from BarnsandNoble.com,
or from Water row books { ask for the autographed copies }..
John also has a new book thats just hitting the stores now , called "Blue Collar" , which again is a collection of his newest works. I know i'm not giving this enough justice, but heck,, comming from an illiterate person like myself, this is the best review I can give. I guess what I'm saying is that his material is worth the time to get and enjoy. Blue Collar is also available from Barnsandnobel.com
. They are currently booking & shipping internet orders, so I know you'll thank me later when you have had the opportunity to enjoy this work.
If you are in the mood, stop by his site at {Click here for John's Site}
Ok,, enough literature and normal stuff.. I'll end here. Just do me a favor and buy the book. Today. Now. Tell a friend. Buy one for your spouse. If you know me , just ask & i'll see if John would be willing to sign your purchased copy/copies . { for a fee of course} LMFAO.. J/k.......
Have a great rest of the holiday .
